QUALITY ASSURANCE
Because quality is a matter of trust.
Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)
The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) was established to tackle the problem of overfishing. As an independent and non-profit organization, MSC is committed to promoting sustainable fishing. The blue logo on MSC-certified products guarantees that they come from responsible fisheries and help to protect fish stocks.
By complying with strict environmental requirements and transparent certification criteria, consumers can be sure that they are contributing to the conservation of marine resources by purchasing MSC-certified products. Careful separation of certified and non-certified fish along the entire supply chain ensures transparency and traceability. The MSC organic label is awarded to sustainable and environmentally friendly fishing that meets the strict criteria and guidelines of the MSC.
Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) emphasises that fish consumption and fishing must be in harmony with the environment in order to be sustainable in the long term. Only responsible aquaculture and sustainable fisheries can protect the oceans and fish stocks in the long term. Fish with the ASC label come from sustainable aquaculture. In contrast to the MSC certificate, which focuses on wild fisheries, the ASC certificate focuses only on aquaculture products. The advantages of fish with the ASC label include compliance with legal requirements, protection of the natural environment and biodiversity, and the promotion of animal health by avoiding unnecessary antibiotics and chemicals.
Organic
Products that bear the BIO quality and test seal come from organic farming. The award of the seal is subject to strict requirements and guidelines. Products with the BIO seal are produced according to the principles of organic farming, which means that they are produced in an environmentally friendly and natural way. This label guarantees a high quality of the products and complies with the strict EU legislation on organic farming. The animals are kept in a species-appropriate manner and the products are subject to regular controls to ensure compliance with the standards.
IFS
We are proud to hold the IFS certificate for food safety and quality in the food industry. It shows that we meet international food safety and quality standards and that we adhere to strict quality and safety standards in our production and supply chain. For consumers, this is a confidence-building signal that we meet high standards in terms of food safety and quality.
Grüner Punkt 2024
The Green Dot mark is a trademark we use as a company to show that we are members of the dual waste disposal system and properly dispose of our packaging waste. In 2024, the mark will continue to serve as a signal to consumers that we are committed to environmentally friendly packaging and recycling.
