ALMOXX - PURE NATURE
The steer and heifer meat from our producers comes from cattle breeds grazing in Bavaria and the Alpine foothills, such as Pinzgauer and Simmentaler Fleckvieh from family farms. These cattle breeds are adapted to the harsher climate and can be kept in open stables or on pasture almost all year round. During the warm season, the cattle eat what nature offers them: Lush grass, herbs and flowers. And in winter, the animals are fed natural, GMO-free feed.
TASTE THE DIFFERENCE
Thanks to constant exercise and a diet of herbs, grass and hay, the high-quality meat from our premium partner's animals has an incomparable quality. It is finely fibrous, finely marbled, with an outstanding taste and offers a real experience on the plate. Its steer meat has a special feature: as the animals grow much more slowly than young bulls, rearing them is time-consuming and feed-intensive, meaning that only a few farmers are involved. Due to the slow and stress-free growth of the animals, heifer meat is particularly fine-fibred and tender, with a fine taste and a clearly pronounced intramuscular marbling.
REGIONAL AND ETHICALLY CORRECT
Almoxx has made it its mission to only offer meat of excellent quality from animals raised sustainably, ethically and regionally. This is made possible by a selected network of partner farmers who meet the high standards of our producers. The unconditional support of regional, small-scale farming is part of the philosophy of Thomas Karg and his dedicated team. It is a matter of course for them to pay the farmers fairly in order to honor their time-consuming and passionate work in rearing the animals.
